Welcome to the Burton upon Trent & District Engineering Society – Your Gateway to Engineering Excellence
Becoming a member of our society means more than just joining a group; it’s about becoming part of a thriving community that's at the forefront of engineering innovation and professional development. Whether you're a seasoned engineer or just starting your career, our society offers a platform for growth, networking, and collaboration. (Written by AI).
Why Join Us?
- Networking Opportunities: Meet a nice bunch of local engineers and their friends, who are keen to share.
- Professional Development: There isn't much that we don't know about the history of engineering in Burton.
- Visits: A President's Day out to somewhere of interest to everyone, including friends and neighbours. Steam Railways are a particular favourite. Other visits through our contacts, provide trips to mines, museums and working factories.
- Social Evening: A Social Evening with friends, partners and wives at Marston's Social Club with a meal followed by a non-technical talk.
